Event Description
Mental Health First Aid Training (Adult Emphasis) - Teaches how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges. The course explores the following:
* common signs and symptoms of mental health challenges
* common signs and symptoms of substance abuse challenges
* how to interact with a person in crisis
* how to connect a person with appropriate help
* expanded content on trauma, substance use, self care and mental health challenges in youth
* common signs and symptoms of mental health challenges
* common signs and symptoms of substance abuse challenges
* how to interact with a person in crisis
* how to connect a person with appropriate help
* expanded content on trauma, substance use, self care and mental health challenges in youth
